DESTEA through its Tourism Support and Development Unit hosted the 2023 Tourism Month Launch and the Free State Camp-Out Experience at Willem Pretorius from the 25th August – 27th August 2023.
MEC Meeko engaged and encouraged the tourism product owners and exhibitors to leverage on Provincial events such as Free State Tourism SaamTrek and the rich heritage found in the Province
Campers participated in activities such as a game drive, team-building games, and the potjiekos challenge.
The event which commenced last night is attended by camping enthusiasts, tourism adventure product owners, and media.
