Hundreds of youth from Mangaung Metro Municipality and Xhariep District assembled at the Grassland Community Hall in Bloemfontein for the Youth Engagement Session led by the Minister for Small Business Development, Ms. Stella Tembisa Ndabeni accompanied by the Free State Premier, Ms. MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae, MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Mr. Ketso Makume, MEC for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ms. Dibolelo Mance and Mangaung Metro Municipality Speaker, Cllr Lawrence Bongani Mathae.
The Youth Engagement Session responds to the persistent youth challenges in Mangaung, high unemployment, limited access to information, and restricted entry into economic opportunities.
